At Widows Impact Network (W.I.N.), we believe that even after devastating loss, life can bloom again. Rooted in faith, compassion, and restoration, we are more than a network — we are a sisterhood, a healing community, and a life-restoration movement.
W.I.N. was birthed from pain, built by grace, and fueled by a divine purpose. Officially launching on May 4, 2025, we honor the life of our founder’s late husband, 👑 John L. Winchester, by turning mourning into movement.

Who We Are
Widows Impact Network (W.I.N.) is a faith-based sisterhood rooted in healing and hope. We are women who have faced deep loss, yet rise again through community, compassion, and Christ-centered restoration. We are mothers, daughters, and sisters—walking through grief together, building each other up every step of the way.
What We Offer
W.I.N. provides emotional and spiritual support through grief counseling, monthly support circles, faith-centered events, and mentorship programs. Whether you’re newly widowed or years into your journey, we walk with you toward peace, purpose, and healing.

We believe no woman should walk through grief alone. Inspired by God’s promise to “give beauty for ashes,” we turn pain into purpose—offering a safe space where widows feel seen, heard, and uplifted. What We Will Accomplish for Widows (The 7 H’s)
W.I.N. exists to transform mourning into movement. Through our “Seven H’s,” we provide a foundation for widows to not just survive—but thrive—spiritually, emotionally, and practically. Each pillar is grounded in purpose, scripture, and healing.
The journey of widowhood is often filled with pain, isolation, and uncertainty. The 7 H’s are not just pillars of programming—they are pathways to restoration. Each one speaks directly to the unique needs and struggles widows face after profound loss. Rooted in biblical truth and practical action, the 7 H’s reflect the whole person: body, mind, and spirit. Help – Essential Resources
We offer practical, tangible support: emergency aid, household assistance, and connections to trusted local services. Our goal is to lighten the burdens that often come after loss.

Healing – Grief Recovery Support Groups
W.I.N. fosters safe, sacred spaces where widows can speak freely, cry openly, and be surrounded by compassion—not judgment. Our non-clinical support circles are grounded in prayer, sisterhood, and shared strength.

Horticulture – Therapeutic Urban Gardening & Food Sustainability
Healing starts in the soil. Through guided gardening programs using container gardens, vertical towers, and greenhouses, widows learn to grow their own food and reconnect with nature as a source of nourishment, peace, and purpose.

Home – Housing Stability & Transitional Support
We assist with finding safe, affordable housing and offer short-term transitional solutions for widows experiencing displacement. Stability is the first step to rebuilding.
